    The Role

    As a POS Support Specialist, you will be a member of the technical support team that is responsible for supporting the hardware and software needs at Fox Restaurant Concepts. We believe in hospitality, and stand behind our purpose of technology enhancing an amazing customer experience.

    We need a team player that has experience with a restaurant POS that understands: how to communicate with end-user, the right way to implement and troubleshoot technology, and is deeply vested in providing exceptional IT support. The candidate must enjoy a fast paced work environment and be flexible with an on call rotation for after hours and weekend support. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Configure, test, and deploy requested marketing menu items and promotions in the POS System 
    • Perform remote support activity to solve POS functionality and/or operational issues
    • Provide excellent customer service and thorough follow-up with restaurant locations
    • Ensure that POS security procedures are implemented and enforced
    • Assist with the installation and maintenance of POS servers, terminals, and printers
    • Define new ways to continually improve POS operations
    • Ensure IT issues are escalated, tracked, and resolved with the appropriate vendors when necessary
    • Support of technology during new store openings and new store system implementation initiatives. Ensures all components are installed to company specifications, and working properly. 

     

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years:
      • Experience in tech support or help desk role.
      • Work within the hospitality industry
    • Preferred:
      • 3 years POS programming or database development
      • Well-rounded knowledge of POS software (Aloha is a bonus!!!)
    • Basic networking/connectivity knowledge
