    The Role

    The Service Desk Specialist is responsible for effective support of all restaurant and office technologies, including: Desktop Support, Email, Connectivity, and Basic POS Support. This person must possess excellent technical and communication skills. Analytical thinking is important as this position will involve mission critical IT issue resolution. Strong customer service attitude is a must!



    • Remotely resolve functionality issues and ensure proper operation of restaurant and office systems
    • Effectively use the IT service desk ticketing system, including timely response to tickets, documenting solutions, and follow-up on user communications
    • Provide excellent customer service to restaurant and office locations until a resolution has been found
    • Assist with the installation and maintenance of restaurant and office hardware and software
    • Maintain appropriate documentation and change management logs
    • Participate in rotating weekend on-call schedule
    • Work some early morning, night, or weekend hours as required by operational needs
    • Create knowledge articles for all issues not already documented to reduce troubleshooting and research time of future calls
    • Perform reasonable additional duties as requested



    • Knowledge of Windows configuration and troubleshooting, and basic networking
    • Mac OS experience preferred
    • Strong customer service attitude and effective communication skills
    • Ability to perform tasks while consistently bending, stooping, kneeling or standing while supporting additional weight of up to 50 lbs
    • Ability to maintain a pleasant disposition and function efficiently in high stress/pressure work environment
    • Ability to effectively organize and multi-task to ensure work load is maintained
    • Take the initiative to make contributions to the department and Company while maintaining positive working relationships with co-workers
    • Preferred 2 years’ experience within the hospitality industry (FOH or BOH)
    • Ability to travel as needed to support restaurant operations
